Great Clumping, but Fragrance Fades Quickly
This was my first time trying the Amazon Basics Scoopable Smart White Bentonite Cat Litter with Lavender Fragrance, and overall, I’m quite happy with it. The price is good compared to other brands, but it would be even better if it was a bit cheaper.One thing that really impressed me was how well it clumps. It makes cleaning the litter box much easier, and the size of the particles is just right – not too big or too fine, and it doesn’t track everywhere.However, the lavender fragrance is a bit of a letdown. While it smells nice at first, the scent fades away pretty quickly, which is a bit disappointing. I was hoping for a longer-lasting scent.For a first try, it’s a solid product that does what it’s supposed to, and I’m happy with it overall. If the fragrance lasted longer, it’d be close to perfect!

I’ve been buying this for almost 2 years.It used to be great — good clumping, low dust, good absorbancy.For two times now, I’ve got a completely different product. It’s grey (unlike the usual white), full of dust, and smells bad. It also turns brown when it comes in contact with any liquid.I contacted customer service bit they did nothing because I didn’t “contact them in the return window” (for a non-returnable product). I hadn’t opened the packet until a week after delivery and contacted on the same day.Given other people’s reviews, it seems like a cost cutting measure.Pathetic service, won’t be buying this again.
