One of the best pinewood litters I have used
One of the best pinewood cat litters ever purchased. Amazon the seller has marketed it incorrectly as clumping cat litter. And people who have bought it have rated it low because it does not truly clump. That’s the characteristic of pinewood litter. It’s not like bentonite.Pinewood litter is discarded wood shavings and chips treated so it’s cat/pet safe. It’s most effectively used in a sievable litterbox. You put the pinewood in the top perforated tray, which sits snugly inside a slightly larger tray.The cat uses it. Stools with remain as they are with bits of litter sticking to it and you scoop it up as usual.The beauty of the litter is in how it reacts to liquid (urine). It will crumble into sawdust that can look slightly like poorly formed clumps. But if you lift the top half of the litterbox and sieve it, it will crumble into fine dust in the bottom tray that can be easily disposed.The beauty of pinewood litter is that it’s highly absorbent and almost odourless. Besides, it will not stick to your cat’s paws like bentonite or other clumping litters and get tracked through the house. It’s eco friendly and it’s easy to deodorise and wash out the kitty litter trays. Good for multi cat households too.You need to shift your thinking on how to use it. Amazon marketing needs to change its marketing write up on the litter. Only someone who has used it, will know the value of pinewood litter which is far more eco friendly than bentonite. I see so many reviews of people thinking this works the same as bentonite litter.Only 2 cons for this product:1. double the cost of Emily Pets pinewood litter.not value for money.2. Pellets are quite a bit smaller than the slots in Trixie Berto litter box, which is the only sifting litterbox available in the Indian market. Hence your work becomes double.Solution:Amazon basics either needs make the pellets bigger than the sifting box slits OR keep the pellet size the same and make its own sifting litter box with significantly smaller siftinh holes/slits.Also lower the price of this when buying larger quantity.

To all cat owners I highly recommend to use this product. It is time saving plus no mess at all.The quality is high grade and value for money. Positive points no clumping like clay it truns into dust, dust contain 90% without any smell. Very easy to change and replace / refill the litter box after cleaning the pervious litter tray. Suggestion use proper cleaning products available on Amazon eg Good Litter box / tray / litter scooper/ please keep extra litter boxes / trays in case more than one cat. In my case I have 7 cats. Final verdict Excellent product.

I like everything about this litter box, the corner configuration works great for my space. It’s spacious enough for multiple cats that you don’t need to scoop multiple times a day. I’ve kept it much longer than recommended because it is easy to clean on the daily with the nicely sloped bottom edge. Some boxes are too squared off making it difficult to scoop easily if kitties pee right at the edge, and I have one of those types. I would gladly repurchase except that I recently adopted another kitty who has the strange habit of sometimes standing upright to pee, and to make it worse, she has long legs! If you observe this behavior in one of you kitties, this one isn’t for you. Buy one of the 13″ high models as I am about to do.So there are four problems with my weird cat situation that mean I need a different style:1) the bottom of the box is not high enough, only about 8-9 inches,2) the lid fits over the outside so the pee goes through the opening and runs down the side of the box onto the floor, sometimes even onto the wall, which means3) the added expense of needing to compensate for that with puppy pads around the two sides taped to the wall and partially under, and4) the sheer aggravation of having to do this every few days to keep the urine smell down (until I observed her doing this I couldn’t figure out why I could still smell cat pee even though I usually scoop twice a day.

Our domestic shorthair, Frank, is a large 5.8kg (13lb) cat, who kept pooping outside of all the standard size litter boxes we’d buy for him. He would try to fit the long way, but his butt would constantly hang over the side or he would poop on the litter box wall, because he was too big. This box is absolutely perfect for larger cats. The sides are high so it captures any and all spray, and even if he stands the short way (with his butt facing the door) to poop, it’s always in the box and not on the wall. Can highly recommend this for larger cats! We don’t have a lot of space to fit a box, so we needed a corner one to save space. This was larger than we’d like (see pictures) but it works, and that’s what counts.You sent

Larger than I expected but pleasantly pleased. The cat litter box fits perfectly in the corner. I bought this prior to a move and hopefully it will be accepted by my cat who is extremely finneky. It really is large.

The size is perfect and it fits well on the corner. A stray cat appeared at my house and he was not potty trained, I potty trained him on this litter box, first without the lid, but it took me only 3 days to have him go with the lid on. The size really helps, because my cat has plenty of room to move around inside it.
