Hard Clumping and long lasting
My kitten and I absolutely love this litter and this is to say something because that little tyke is really picky about everything. It locks odour and doesn’t stick to bottom if you pour in a generous layer and your cat doesn’t dig too deep. It’s a little slow clumping which caused issues since my kitten grazes on kibble all day and poops around 5 times a day, sometimes on purpose to seek attention. But after 45 minutes or so it forms a hard clump and is easy to clean.

As a 6 Cats owner here is my honest review, i disagree with some of the below review,firstly, i dont think this product should be because it is imported from “China”. It should be purely based the on whether it works for you or not.I haved used lots of different litters, i must say this litter by far out performed any of them in terms of smell absorbency.If you’re filling up only 5cm of the litter box yes it will stick to the bottom, in order for it to be a proper clump, the urine should not be reaching the bottom that quick. The litter needs to be deeper.Does it clump better than other bentonite litter? I dont think it does. When compared to other 5kg bags in the same litter tray, others clump faster, if the litter is not deep and when it sticks to the bottom it doest always stay dry, it sometimes become very soft, sticky and creamy which dirty the litter a lot. This creates a lot more work to constantly clean the litter bottom before a new one is being poured.The litter are very round, when there are a left overs on the floor they rolled around everywhere. It might be a good idea to have a litter mat.

Not Worth buying
I found this expensive in comparison to the Normal litter which is only 800 for 10KG. It is difficult to clean and have alot of dust. Its very light is weight hence cats are covering the poop, litter is going out the litter tray which is another waste.

Good clumping and absorbency. But too much dust that clingsvto paws and dirties floors
Clumps well, absorbs smell. But it ceeates a lot of grey dust that clings to the paws of the cats and dirties the whole house with grey mud or grey dust, difficult to clean. Better results if tray lined with newspaper before pouring in the litter. The normal petcrux clumping bentonite is far better than this charcoal version which i am unlikely to buy again.

The best PetCrux litter. Period
Simply put the best cat litter from this brand. Complete odour lock, long lasting and good absorption. Can safely say this as I have 4 litter trays and 4 cats at home. There is zero odour.It clumps well and locks in the smells way better than most brands in this price bracket. Compared to other versions from the same brand, this one is lasting me more as well.Highly recommended purchase

I have purchased ~60 kgs of this litter since March 2020 and intend to continue using it. It’s quite economical, and for the price very decently absorbent, clumping, and fairly effective at controlling the smell. As a new cat parent, I initially made mistakes with proper litter maintanence (but my little lions are quite forgiving). Just make sure you use the litter as intended – pour a generous layer in the tray (about 4-5 inches thick) and clean regularly (I clean twice a day). Keep adding as needed, usually when the layer has reduced to 1-2 inches. Wait for the freshly used litter to completely dry and clump first (this litter does seem to take a bit longer for that than others I have used), or it is a messy, sticky ordeal. I now purchase 25 kgs at a time and it lasts me approximately 3 months for 2 cats who share one litter box. I have also used PetCrux’s other bentonite litter (as well as litter from other midrange brands), and vastly prefer this carbon litter. However, you may notice that after 6-7 weeks your cat’s paws may need cleaning (as this litter has activated carbon which is dark coloured). I simply wipe with a damp towel – no different than wiping my dog’s feet after a walk outdoors. Maybe other high end brands offer better clumping and scent control, but this one is definitely worth it for the price. It’s a decent compromise, in exchange for cheaper litter I just have to be more diligent with cleaning and maintenance.

So here is the truth..Dont go by the activated charcoal tag..The litter is inferior to other bentonite litter I have used over the years1)turns into black mud immediately after it absorbs the pee2)sticks to litter tray like cement nd is very hard to clean3)leaves black marks all over the marble flooring4)obviously expensive by atleast 50bucks when compared to other bentonite litterSo all in all..if ur a busy person with 3 full grown cats like me and want to spend some quality time with ur munchkin instead of cleaning vigorously fr the rest of the day..pls look fr other better options..
