Was looking for length/which it has–It is sturdy–comfortable for me to hold. NOT good for small dog–irritates the neck.

I switched my dog from a harness leash to this type of leash at the advice of our dog trainer because my dog likes to pull. It is still a work in progress but I do feel like I have more control because of how sturdy this leash is. I really appreciate the squishy handle, it’s such a good idea and I’m surprised I don’t see it on more leashes out there. My only complaint is that the plastic piece hear the handle came loose and slides down the leash and the piece that adjusts the size of the collar is also loose so sometimes the collar size gets too big and he can slip out. I would replace it if I could

This leash is built so well. I had no idea what type of quality I was going to get for $7, and I was amazed. We bought it for our 90 pound dog for our camping trip in the Adirondack Mountains. The slip on feature was the main draw and how durable it looked online. But for under $7, I wasn’t holding my breath. Well on our first day of hiking, about 2 hours in and 2,500 feet up my friend’s dog slid off the side of the mountain. He happened to land on a small ledge about 10 feet below. Without thinking my friend slid down after him. Once down there my friend realized he could not get himself or the dog back up. With the help of some amazing hikers passing by and your leash, we were able to pull the dog up and then my friend. We put a lot of faith in your leash that day and had any part of it failed at any time during that rescue, I hate to think what could have happened. Thank you for making such a durable product. We felt our friend deserved to have the leash that saved his and his dog’s life and we have since bought a new one for ourselves.
