Natural Wood Pellets are biodegradable and compostable. It is a natural and cost effective alternative to clay litter for environmentally conscious cat owners. It doesn’t contain any chemical odor-masking agents and fragrances that are often found in clay products and believed to trigger respiratory issues and bacterial infections in both cats and humans. Unlike conventional litters, our litter does not clump due to absence of chemicals. Clumping occurs only with the help of the wood chip dust which is naturally formed from the pellets. Wood pellets work as cat litter by absorbing the liquid – along with the smell – and then crumble into sawdust. The sawdust ends up at the bottom of the litter box, while fresh pellets remain on top.To clean the litter box, you scoop the feces, and some of the sawdust, on a daily basis. You can also opt for a special sifting litter box, that removes the sawdust automatically. Pellets made from wood are highly absorbent compared to clay, and can take more than 500% of their own weight (or even more in some cases). The high absorbency of wood also helps with smell, because the pellets quickly soaks up the cat’s urine and neutralizes its odor. Many cat owners also appreciate the natural scent from wood, such as pine.
Ecofriendly- It is also a “recycled” product, in the sense that it is made of natural wood dust.
Biodegradable- Made from a natural material that is renewable and biodegradable
Toxin Free- You can get wood pellets that are without any chemical additives
Economical- The cheapest cat litter you can get.
Flushable- You can just flush it in toilet after use

Your cat baby and your pocket will thank you.
I am a month old user of wood pellet litter. Quite new, but I have used pretty much all kinds of highly rated clay and newspaper and tofu litters out there. I just had to take out the time to write this review.Wood litter can be quite confusing for beginners mostly because of the way you sift it. Usual scoopers don’t work because pellets are too big to pass from scooper’s holes. Now, there are super expensive cat litter boxes of sifting type available online. Dump that crap, unless you can afford it. If you are up for an hour long DIY sifting type litter box, get two stackable trays with the top one having holes poked/drilled at its base. (max 400 bucks) There are many videos on YouTube on making sifting type litter boxes. I think it is important to have this kind of a litter box to use this litter. It greatly cuts down on your litter box cleaning efforts and time. (also prevents powdered wood from tracking around the house)Pros:Litter tracking reduces drastically. It is only around the litter box, it is not dusty, it doesn’t stick to your cat’s feet.Odour control is superb. Smells like sawdust throughout. The only odour you have to smell is when you clean the litter box. For one cat, I clean the box twice a week. For one cat, I used to use 8-10kgs clay litter in a month earlier. I am still on my first 5kg packet this month, and it should go on for another week or two. So, it is obviously cost-effective.It does not clump, but is so easy to dump. You just flush it. The pee turns pellets into dust which can be dumped just like that, and poop can be scooped out once it dries. Barely any litter pieces stick to poop, reducing litter wastage significantly. No artificial smelly chemicals stick to your cat’s paws, thereby reducing ingestion of any chemicals by them when they groom themselves. Your cat baby doesn’t smell of litter. That’s a big plus for me.It is eco-friendly!Tip 1: throw a handful of dry pellets in the bottom tray. It helps absorb any urine that is not absorbed immediately by the litter pellets in the upper tray.Tip 2: Like any other litter, replace the entire contents of the tray at least monthly if not more frequently. For this litter, you can keep the pellets instead of dumping them while replacing. This discarded litter can be used in the bottom tray a little at a time. No wastage.Cons: Doesn’t clump.Needs a separate litter box system.I wouldn’t call these cons really.Happy switching! It is worth it.

Just okay!
Product was delivered with packets torn inside the box. Besides, this has a bad smell.

Cheap! Literally! Horrible waste…my cat hates it
Horrible experience with this litter. The size of pellets is massive. They dont turn into dust when they get wet but stay whole, so it’s difficult to separate. The litter get stinky very fast and my cats hates stepping into it. After I got this litter, she has started potting anywhere in the house. I need to throw the whole set often so it works out expensive eventually! Dont go for this litter…I’m waiting for this big stupid packet to get over so I can start using some other litter. In my opinion smaller grained tofu litter is so much better.

Great eco-friendly product: Satisfied
I didn’t want to buy bentonite litter thinking where would I dispose it? Though it is natural in origin (a clay mineral), wherever I dispose it, with time the soil’s property there will change. This is a great n cheaper alternative. (1) It is made of wastes from the wood industry; (2) after use I put the wood dust into the compost and get ferlilizer ☺️; (3) my cats are safe from added perfume or chemicals, it smells nice though: natural wood smell; (4) i haven’t used anything else, so I can’t compare, but a 5kg pack lasts a little more than a month. I have 2 kittens, 3 month old.Points to remember for easy use:-(1) Use a double box system, one strainer on top of a container (see photo). I didn’t buy the expensive litter boxes. Just brought containers from a local market. A single box results in a lot of wastage and is unhealthy.(2) Take out the poop n shake the box well least once a day to aerate thoroughly. I also put it under the sun sometimes, not necessary though.(3) I place 1/2 newspaper in the below container to absorb the urine that falls through and change it daily. You can also place some pellets there instead.(4) The pellets absorb the urine, become dark and swells. Some of it will disintegrate into wood dust. Rest ur cat will disintegrate by digging. And when u shake the container the dust will pass through the strainer and collect in the bottom container. U can discard it easily. So, not to worry!Only disadvantage is when ur cat have diarrhoea. A lot of pellets are wasted and cleaning is a headache.

Risky to use
As a litter, it’s excellent, but for cats who are used to bentonite litter, this will not work.I wish I knew about pine litter when my cat was still a kitten. I would’ve gotten him used to using it. Now that he’s accustomed to bentonite litter, he JUST WONT USE THIS.Pros:- Environment friendly- Can be cost effective as it lasts for a really really long time if you know how to use it- 100% dust freeCons:- Cats will be very hesitant to use it if they’re used to bentonite litter. My cat started peeing all over our house. This was the first ever instance he’s ever peed outside his litter box in his life. So, I can say, you’ll have a super difficult time with it.- Non scented. While this is a good thing as it means that there’s no chemicals for fragrance, it’s still a con because there’s no odour lock. The area in and around litter box will smell like cat poop- Kinda hard to clean. For pee, it disintegrates into saw dust which can be collected with a double-decker kind of litter box but the poop can’t be sifted through.. so you’ll have to pick it up somehow 👎🏻- The pellets of this particular pine litter are way too long. So, it’s hard to dig for the cat as well.Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re getting it for a grown cat. But if you have a kitten that’s never used bentonite litter, get him/her used to this
